Reconsideration of Order of Worship Service

The Committee discussed and concurred that

1.. Wheel of Life/Joys & Sorrows should always be a component, but for some services (such as the Water Ceremony) it can be incorporated into the sharing statements.
2.. The Affirmation should be varied so that it does not become a rote recitation.
3.. The placement of the Collection/Offertory can be varied; for effectiveness, it needs to be carefully introduced.
4.. The Committee supports the encouragement of donations during the service and also recommends that BRIDGES incorporate a collection as part of the young people's classes. It would be good if they selected a cause/purpose and then collected each week toward that goal.
