[Women] August 10 women's group

Greetings, all,


The August women's group will meet at my place (formerly Margaret and Cindy Brown's place), 631 Second Street, at 6:00 on August 10. I have a latish meeting at the college that day, so my contribution to dinner will be simple--possibly some kind of flatbread or a quiche made ahead of time--and plenty of wine.


I have not thought of a theme, but this is the month I turn sixty, a stage of life I am finding easier and more enjoyable than those that came before (despite increasing decrepitude). So perhaps our theme is a reflection on the stages or passages of our lives, or what we notice most about our lives now, or something of the kind.


Please let me know if you are coming in case I need to track down extra chairs.


For anyone who doesn't know the area, 631 Second is the corner of Second and Sacra Via, the last house on the left before the arboretum when heading out of town from the church (picture attached so you can recognize it--we have the "exuberant" flower bed in the lawn strip)[cid:a8f1a6d7-e4d9-4b1b-b3dd-76f8887f6e51]. It's a double house, so you will want  to take the brick walkway to the right of the garage, past the potted plants. My phone number is 740-358-9646.
