[Green] DuPont Grant Change

Michael; I am doing some research on smart cities and towns for a small
town in France and will hopefully have some food for thought by Sunday.
I wonder if we can try to have one our goals for this new direction of
the grant to be somehow laying down some groundwork for the Sustainable
Marietta project. For example, signage in different locations that
directs people to the farmer's market or announces Marietta is a
welcoming town etc. Signage directing to the charging station at the
Armory would be good too. Roger Kalter knows lots about the trees in
the area - is Marietta a Tree City USA town? There seems to be a need
for some tree removal and tree planting for creating shade and also
thoughtful planning for attracting birds etc. I'm looking for lots of
ideas that can be whittled down by Sept. 11th. Annie
