Service in the Sanctuary and on Zoom: Memorial Day Sunday Honoring All Who
Serve Rev. Kathryn Hawbaker Here is another holiday that challenges us to
consider what we value and how to act accordingly. Most would say we honor
those who serve, but want an end to war. As we invest in new cleaner energy
sources and advanced technologies, can we give more energy to peace-making
in our neighborhoods and in the world? Conflict over resources is a
recurring theme of war and lack of imagination leaves us stuck in a rut. We
will conclude the service in the Memorial Garden (as weather allows).
