1.. Minutes of the December to be approved
2.. Correspondence: Martha
3.. Reports from Specific Task Teams:
1.. Aesthetics Team: Reflection on holiday decorations and dismantling procedures,
transition to Social Hall
2.. Special Music Team: Suzyn
Last Sunday in September: Andrew McKnight -- degree of involvement TBD
3.. Worship Associates Team: An updated WA Checklist and script is in the drawer of the vestibule table. Materials have also been distributed to Worship Associates via email.
4.. Piano Task Force:
5.. Technology Task Force: Mike Bailey has submitted reimbursement requests for a multidirectional microphone ($169) and a router, cable and wall plate for improved reception for live broadcasts ($80.53).

3.. Re-Usable Folder: Adeline & Kat Adeline submitted a reimbursement request for folder printing costs of $140.
4.. Board policy concerning special collections: Shari will report on the Board's policy related to special collections and procedures for counting and recording contributions to special causes

The Committee suggested that the Committee Round Table on January 20 would be a good time
for all to become aware of policy, procedures, and information.
7.. Budget - Notification of Purchase: Chris Keller reported that she purchased red and green candles at a cost of $52.70.
Theme for Year 2017-2018 will be "How do we create a world of our values?"
8.. Possible Topics and speakers for future services: Sustainability: Annie Warmke, annie at bluerockstation.com, Touchstone REACH Packet, Hungry Town, multiple intelligences with additional one - existential-spiritual, powerful children's stories, ages of women, This I Believe, family stories as carriers of family values, June Teenth celebration, reflections of people who grew up in UU congregation (Jay Phillips, Mike Bailey, Dean Banziger), Bill Bauer and Peg Clifford on suicide and kindness, reflections of former ministers, LeeAnn Gallucci on recovering from loss, Living Mindfully - Prepare for the Unexpected (Robin Bozian, Anita Newhart, Sue Montera, Virginia Mayle), anti-bullying and Shari's Flower Story, Quill as a storyteller, Quakers on consensus, morality of artificial intelligence.
