STAFF COST Pianist - Sunday service weekly, 6 Sundays off with pay, Christmas Eve service

Explanation of Worship & Music Requests

1. Music, Other: Costs of sheet music and downloads for last year were $425.

2. Piano Maintenance: Randy now has an electronic keyboard for practice, so the cost for tuning the practice piano once per year has been eliminated.

3. Worship Program:

· The standard pay for an ordained minister as guest speaker has risen to $250.00.

· Part of the pianist's compensation is six paid Sundays off, but music is so critical to the worship service that we have needed to pay a substitute pianist $100 for each of those Sundays.

4. Worship Supplies:

· Worship & Music Committee has identified the need for more stable stands for both the projector and screen in the sanctuary and for more versatile projection equipment.

· The Committee also established an Aesthetics Task Team and realizes that they need a budget to acquire resources for beautification of the Sanctuary.
