[Women] Women's Banner and photos

If you're talking about "Gonna be an engineer", I wasn't suggesting we
sing this song. I think the song only has power when sung by the person
who wrote it. It IS the story of many of us, so therefore perhaps some
education for some in the congregation and I was hoping we might use it
during the service on the 29th. I agree with Jane that I don't want to
sing about growing up to be a man, although I don't think she says that
in the song. I also am of the opinion that "we should have passed this
point by now", to quote Jane, and my husband would agree that I am
little raw right now about the latest response from those who vote.
Singing something more positive might keep me from crying, which I did
when I heard Gonna be an Engineer. Annie
