[Green] Deep Rock BEN Action Plan

GSC,

    We now have the full backing of the Buckeye Environmental Network in
opposing the Deep Rock request for a permit at American Growers # 4 (just
outside Marietta). The BEN action plan is attached.

     I would ask if someone from GSC can submit a letter to the editor of
the Marietta Times. I would do so, but I have been told that they will not
publish a letter from the same person within a month's time--I have the
"Conversation with a Ground Hog" in an edition this week.

     The letter should indicate that we're asking for a public meeting, but
we want one with Director (of the Division of Oil and Gas Resource
Management) Eric Vendel present to respond to questions from Washington
County residents. As you recall, if you attended the meeting two and half
years ago at St. Ambrose Church about the injection well at Arrowhead,
there were two ODNR representatives there who said they would not answer
any questions.
