[Green] FaCT distinguished speaker series

Dear Green friends,

Ginnie asked me to let you know that the date of the next FaCT Ohio distinguished speaker series events has changed.

It was scheduled for 3/11, but now will be a week later, on 3/198.  Here’s a link to the schedule, https://www.factohio.org/dist-speak <https://www.factohio.org/dist-speak>

And what a distinguished list it is, too!  The speaker in June, Scott Weidensaul, is a friend of mine, and MAN, is he a brilliant speaker. His book was a NYT bestseller, I’ve heard him on NPR, I’ve birded with him several times, and he is brilliant and sweet. If you haven’t read A World on the Wing: The global odyssey of migratory birds,” or even if you have, I encourage you to tune in to this talk. He’s truly an engaging speaker. 

And then, in November, the speaker is Doug Tallamy (an acquaintance of mine, who probably doesn’t remember me). He’s the guy behind Homegrown National Parks, who got famous with his book Bringing Nature Home, about the importance of native plants in an ecosystem.

I am not familiar with the other speakers, but the topics look great!
