[Green] CITF Revised Application - Invitation to edit

I plan to look at the proposal later today or in the morning early.  We
could put something in the paper about the project and invite people to
use the unit with a ribbon cutting...ask the mayor to be the first one
to charge his phone, tablet or laptop. We could also have a solar light
that only turns on when movement activates it so we won't need
electricity for that.  I have a solar spotlight at the barn that works
well and has been doing the job for three years without a new battery.
The unit was only about $50.  We could also have a solar light rope
which provides a small amount of light but makes it easy to see when
approaching the unit (for security reasons perhaps or just to activate
the solar light.  We'll need signage for how it all works, and maybe ask
people to make tally marks on a board when they re-charge something.
This could be a way to engage people.

I wrote earlier about asking Third Sun to support the project and Blue
Rock Station will definitely support it financially and with technical
assistance.  I know the Sierra Club had offered some financial support.
