The FUUSM sponsored Solar Installer Certification (Level I) class will 
be held June 22^nd to June 26^th .  There are six people currently 
registered and four slots available.

This five days of training (4 1/2 classroom instruction and 1/2 day 
taking the certification test) provides an opportunity to obtain a 
certification that can lead to a variety of well-paying jobs in the 
emerging renewable energy industry. The class will be held at FUUSM and 
requires registration (www.bluerockstation.com 
<http://www.bluerockstation.com/>). Please note that there will be 
health requirements for attending the class that include wearing a mask, 
self-taking of temperature before entering class, etc.

Through the US government there are Pell Grants available for people on 
unemployment to take classes that offer some sort of certification. A 
letter explaining the rules for using the grant was mailed to 
unemployment recipients, and a copy of the letter must be presented to 
the education site to apply for the grant. This program does not apply 
to programs not held through a college or university.
