[Green] Concerning planet of the humans movie

The up front fossil fuel use to obtain parts and materials for renewable energy, as well as other issues brought up, has been addressed multiple times to my satisfaction in the large number of articles I’ve been reading refuting this movie.
I no longer argue with deniers, so I will not be further educating myself to improve my accuracy. This film of lies and outdated misleading information infuriates me, and I will not be joining the discussion.

I fear that we will not watch this together and have a discussion.
Solar equipment and wind turbine parts are fossil fuel based.  Let's
educate ourselves on the true costs of renewable energy so we are
accurate in the points we make to support it.  This move is a beginning
in that process.

I posed this question to some experts at CCL who countered that there are efforts to recycle wind turbines with new technology and to build them out of recyclable materials.

I think we need to show that our positions are science-based, and that we do acknowledge upstream and downstream carbon consequences of our advocacy for renewables but whatever these consequences, they pale in comparison to what happens with fossil fuels--witness the proposed fracking offload facility in Marietta.
