Dawn:
Thanks for all your work in these difficult times.
Aye on the meeting notes.
Dave and I have conferred about the scheduled CCL meeting of March 16 and have decided to cancel. A detailed message has been sent to CCL-Marietta members. However, members have agreed to draft letters to the editor. Adeline Bailey has written (and submitted) an excellent letter linking response to the coronavirus to the response needed to climate change. We have asked CCL members to work on these letters but to hold off on submitting them (unless they are tied to the coronavirus) because the latter issue is saturating the media.
I have not been involved in the planning group for the Sustainability Forum but have talked with Dave B about it. It looks like the precautions against the coronavirus will move into next month and beyond. If the Forum as a social gathering is postponed, one option is to run it on Zoom. But that has numerous complications, e.g., how to run a PPT presentation and talk over it on Zoom. It is unlikely that people whom really want to engage in the Forum will be willing to participate in a Zoom-based event. Since the whole world is looking at a delay of 3-6 months for all public events, I would respectfully suggest doing the Forum in the fall.
Since Earth Day is an outdoor event, we might consider participating if Kathy Ortt wants to go ahead. CCL would like to arrange a tabling opportunity on HR 763 if the decision is to go ahead.
The April 5 UU service as well as the adult RE sessions in that month might also be a bust so our planning for that event will have to be postponed.
Still waiting to hear from Annie & Jay about the solar installer class.

I’ve also hung a few fliers around town. Last I heard, there were four sign-ups. Annie, can you provide an update? Since this class is so small, I presume it will continue as planned?

Workshops and the panel discussion will not be held in person on Saturday. There will be no Sunday afternoon discussion in person.
