[Green] Green Sanctuary Committee will meet Sunday; call for agenda items

Hello, Dear Green Friends,

I hope you are healthy and happy and enjoying these perfect-temperature summer days! Okay, well, technically, it’s still late spring. Summer solstice is on Saturday, so our meeting will be on the first full day of summer: Sunday at 12:30 p.m. via Zoom. I’ll send you an invitation later this week.

So, here’s what I know we need to cover at our meeting:


1. Approval of minutes from May meeting.
2. Report on CCL meeting with Rep. Johnson’s aide—that meeting will be Wednesday afternoon.
3. Rescheduling the solar installer training class? (That might have to hold until we have a decision on meetings in the social hall.)
4. Parking atop Marietta’s drinking water source (at Indian Acres Park). We really need to encourage enforcement of “no parking” signs there, and educate the public about why parking is prohibited there. Maybe work with the city. 
5. Any update on the Deep Rock Disposal barge facility permit or public hearings?
6. Other things I’ve forgotten.
