[Green] Virtual Public Meeting Follow up

GSC Colleagues:

   I have attached a list of questions/comments as follow-up to the virtual pubic meeting we had on August 7. These comments are due to  the USACE by August 17. Please give me your edits/additions/deletions/comments by this Friday, August 14. I'll make changes. We can finalize the document and decide if we want to delegate these questions/comments at our meeting on the 16th. I'll send it on the evening of the 16th.

    I think we need to give the USACE a face-saving way to hold another meeting. Perhaps we can suggest that they tell Deep Rock that there were so many technical problems with the August 7 meeting that they need to schedule another meeting.


     Academic types are people who question rules & regulations. Scientists are people who make changes in rules and regulations in the face of empirical evidence. Elected officials are sensitive to public/constituent perspectives in setting rules & regulations....And military people are types who rigidly apply rules and regulations in an authoritative way. We saw the latter vividly demonstrated at the virtual meeting on Friday.
