Dawn:
Thanks for everything you do for Green Sanctuary. I know how difficult it must be to do a demanding full-time job then handle all the GS issues--from the same work place.
I'm fine with a Zoom meeting on April 19.
Dave Ballantyne or I will have a report about CCL. As you know, we're having our own Zoom meeting this evening. Among other things CCL-national is having an Earth Day (virtual) event on April 25.

I hope you are all happy and well and being cautious with your health!
I’ve been working from home for two weeks now; the transition was painless, since my normal work involves sitting behind a computer for 8 hours a day anyhow. The unforeseen side effect is that at the end of my work day, i can’t wait to exit this room and not return. I didn’t mind sitting in this room at this computer in the evenings after a day of work at the BWD HQ, but after working in this room, at this computer all day, I really do not want to be here in the evening, too. Not even after a dinner break. Consequently, I’m having a hard time making myself respond to personal email, or putting in time and effort on much of anything that requires me to use this computer in this room. I’m sorry. I’m okay using my iPad in the kitchen, but that’s not conducive for doing real work.
Anyway, enough of me whining when I still have a paycheck and a full belly, and I’m healthy! Shame on me.
Let’s have a Green Sanctuary Committee Meeting next Sunday, April 19, at 12:30 p.m., as usual, okay? I’ll set up a Zoom meeting and invite you all.
FYI, Rebecca and Adeline are planning an Earth Day, environmentally themed service for next Sunday. I’ve had little to do with it (see the second paragraph above), but I’m grateful for what they’ve done. it will be a lovely service. Please tune in!
For those of you who aren’t on the Sustainability Forum Subcommittee, we’re nearly finished with s survey that we intend to email to all those who agreed to participate in the Forum in any way: as a workshop presenter, a panelist, or as an attendee. We’re hoping to send it out by next weekend.
What else to discuss at Sunday’s meeting? It seems like we ought to do SOMETHING (virtually) to recognize the 50th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22. Any ideas? Please send me items for the agenda. By Saturday, April 18 at 7 p.m.
With best wishes and gratitude,
—dawn
