Hi Green Friends!
Let’s do the Earth Day reminder first:
I hope lots of you will join me at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Marietta Armory to set up for Earth Day, which runs from 10 until 2. It would be great if we could have the usual canopy/shelter above our table(s) in case of rain.
Please bring any solar devices for show and tell. I’ll bring my solar birdbath, and my solar clothes dryer (as usual).
I will also bring 99 packets of common milkweed seeds, and 50 photocopies for coloring: some of a monarch butterfly, others showing the life cycle of monarchs, and a few of the sun, leftover from last year. I’ll also bring some tape, markers, pasteboard, and anything else that seems like it might be useful. I hope you’ll do the same.
It would be great if someone could bring crayons or colorful markers for coloring.
Am I forgetting anything?

Please don’t forget: Jay Warmke will be delivering the Adult RE talk Sunday from 10 to 10:45 on renewable energy. Please try to attend, and to bring your friends. I won’t be there.
April 28, Rebecca Phillips will talk about dying green (green burial).

Okay, on to agenda items!
We will meet Sunday at as close to 12:30 as we can manage. When I say “we,” I mean the Green Sanctuary Committee minus me, because I will be traveling to Texas for work (birding!). Chris Jacobs will chair the meeting, but I’ll prepare the agenda for him. If there are omissions, please let me know by 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Here’s what we need to talk about.
Approval of March GSC minutes (which I emailed to you on March 24).
Earth Day post mortem
Just Dinner in May?
How is the River Trail clean-up going? Would March and/or April teams care to report?
Green Tips for May volunteer?
Earliest discussion of Sustainability Forum this winter? Andrew
That’s all I can think of. Sorry to have to miss the meeting. Hope to see many of you Saturday at 9 at the Armory.
