[Green] Fwd: Wayne NF Volunteer Tree Planting this Saturday

Friends,

I’ve been asked to pass along to you a tree-planting event 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday in the Wayne National Forest, at the Frontier Boat Launch on Route 7. I can’t make it, but it would be great if you could. Their purpose is to reduce their mowing, which is a worthy cause.   See two messages and attachment below.

If you remember the old Capitol Christmas Tree recreation site (it’s been closed for a long time, though, so no worries if you don’t!), it’s right next to that. It’s a great boat launch, and was originally built as a partnership between USFS and ODNR.
