[Green] Friday Just Dinner; January Minutes; Call for Agenda items

Hello dear Green Sanctuary Committee members,

Long message. Please make yourself comfortable, and please read the whole way to the bottom. 

Doesn’t time fly? Our next Green Sanctuary Committee meeting will be Sunday, 12:30—as sharp as we can make it. A Winter Gardening Series class will begin at 1:30, so we’ll have to have another extra efficient, concise meeting. Attached are the minutes from the January meeting. Please read them and be prepared to vote on them at the meeting.

Other agenda items:
—progress on the Faithify campaign and Solar Match Fund in general
—Hoedown in March or April?
—Early Earth Day brainstorming
—Annie Warnke’s energy and Ideas
—March 18 Service is ours; and Jean Ambrose has agreed to provide the reflection as a, sort of, preview of the Adult RE series she’ll be co-leading for three weeks in April
—Renewing memberships in Ohio Environmental Council and Friends of the Lower Muskingum River
—March Green Tips volunteer?
—Post-mortem on the Just Dinner Fund-raiser

Please send additional agenda items to me on or before Thursday, February 15, at 7 p.m. 

And speaking of that Just Dinner: I hope many of you plan to spend this Thursday night cooking!  Here’s what you promised to bring:

Kelcey & Chris Jacobs - vegetarian chili
Shari Miller -  blueberry dessert
George Banziger - Indian cuisine main dish
Dawn Hewitt - persimmon pudding (dessert)
Adeline Bailey - quiches (meat and vegetarian options)
Patty Troisi - salad
Cindy Taylor - ginger snaps  and a raw veggie plate
Andrew Clovis - bread
Ralph Olander - wine
Tim Finkel - meat dish: Local chicken and local noodles
Dawn Wittberg also plans to bring something

Setup will start around 5:00 p.m.; Cindy Taylor and others will help. Other volunteers will supply cloth napkins and table decorations.

In addition to the 15-or-so people (and assumed partners) named above, the following people will be coming to the Just Dinner as paid guests: 

	Diane & Kim McMichael
	Gary Hamilton (!) and presumably Christine
	Gill Moore and presumably Michelle Wilson
	Martha McGovern
	Emily Grafton
	Darryl & Cynthia Ting
	Roger & Betsy Kalter
	Ann Bragg and Andy Garcia
	Probably Jann Adams and possibly a friend.
(Mark and Nina Redd signed up at the auction and paid, but will not be attending.)

So, that looks like approximately 31 people. Plan your contribution accordingly! 

Do you think I should email the guests and remind them of the event?  Especially those who signed up at the auction. I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to do so. 

Potential speakers Adeline had in mind for a presentation after the dinner were not available, so 

I think that’s all. I hope I haven’t forgotten anything. If so, please forgive me and reply to the whole group.
