[Green] Faithify Campaign

Green Sanctuary Folks:

    As Dawn has already mentioned, our Faithify Campaign to  raise $2,000 towards our solar matching grant is live as of today (February 3). It will be up until April 3. You can view it on:

        faithify.org

     In order to test it, I made a contribution  myself, and it worked. The featured  image of our campaign will show the amount raised. Dawn also made a contribution.

      Please let people know about our campaign. If you are on Facebook, please add a link to faithify.org on your Facebook page with a message to all your friends. Faithify recommends social media as the best way to spread the word about a campaign.

      Your credit card will not be billed for the Faithify donation until the campaign is over (April 3). If someone states that they are unwilling to contribute online with their  credit card, ask them to send a check made out to FUUSM with Solar Match in the memo line--that will also avoid the 3% service charge that Faithify imposes.

      The payment system that Faithify uses is called STRIPE in case someone asks you what that name means. 

      I am not sending this message to the full FUUSM mail list for two reasons: 1) we are about to launch the 2018 FUUSM pledge drive, and I don't want us to compete with that effort; and 2) A major purpose of using Faithify is to get donations from outside our congregation.
