I'm OK with the April 2 service as you describe. I'm sure that Gene Barry would be agreeable to sharing part of his presentation or part of the service with the GS folks. 

Also agree that an RE session on the solar panels would be a good idea.

The Worship and Music Committee will be meeting March 1, and I’m inclined to withdraw my request that we take the April 2 service. Is that OK with you? Even so, we really ought to target that service to announce the matching grant for more solar. Agreed?

Maybe we can ask Dave Ballantyne to do a RE session—or even two. Inn addition to enabling the solar installation on our roof, he’s also been working with Marietta City officials on their energy and environmental efforts. He gave a great presentation at MOVCA on that topic, and he’s looking for volunteers to help. I suspect he’d be happy to use a RE session to talk about that (and possibly enlist a few of us).

Please let me know what you think about these plans.
