Marietta First Unitarian Universalist Society Work Party
                   10am-Noon, September 27

Sexton Wendy Frye Paskowiyz has graciously compiled a list of repair and
maintenance projects needed in our  buildings and grounds.

For safety, efficiency, planning and fellowship,* it is import that we know
who is intending to volunteer. *That allows us to have needed tools and
supplies available.

Tasks requiring skills:

Pew repair—2-3 people with carpentry experience.

Caulking of stain glass dust intrusions—1 person.

Pressure washing of RE steps and memorial bricks, lead by Mike Lang, 1-2
more needed with gallon gas.

Dawn and Wendy cleaning 4 vacuums, 1-2 people to learn process for future.

Dawn and Wendy clearing Putnam Street roof drain to street, 2-3 to learn
process.

RE dead Dogwood  removal—Ron Rees and Grady Smith

Check dehumidifiers in kitchen, nursery, fellowship and staircase, empty
reservoirs, report to Roger or Jim and not working. 1 person familiar with
dehumidifiers.

Removal of vegetation encroaching on RE Building, 1-2 people familiar with
gardening.

Various attention spans.

Raking and bagging leaves for composting. Collecting and loading dead, down
limbs. Cutting to size if necessary.

Cleaning in and around handicap lift. Leaves and grit beneath. Lubricate. 1
person.

Kitchen: 1-3 people evaluating unnecessary stuff, compiling questionable
for thrift store, general cleaning where required.

Feel free to suggest other needed projects.

Food for volunteers lunch appreciated. Fellowship and fun encouraged.

Anyone not available for work party is welcome to complete projects on your
schedule and convenience.
