Card Shower for Squish and Joey!

To honor and celebrate the upcoming (Oct. 4) wedding of Stephanie “Squish”
Rector and Joey Thomas, we will hold a card shower immediately after Coffee
Hour (starting at 1 p.m.) on Sunday, Sept. 14. You’re invited! Please bring
a card of good wishes to give to the happy couple.

Coffee Hour Volunteers Needed!

Coffee Hour volunteers are urgently needed for the third Sunday of odd
months (starting Sept. 21), the first Sunday of even months (starting Oct.
5), and the fourth Sunday of even months (starting Oct. 24). That’s a
three-hour shift just six times per year! If you can help, please talk to,

Can You Chip in for Purchase of Holiday Cards?

Holidays are coming! Please help us purchase holiday cards for our annual
greeting card project, in which we send notes of holiday joy and
encouragement to every resident of our local nursing homes and rehab
facilities. A donation box is in the social hall. Thanks!  —Membership

*Save the Date: You're Invited to a Party!*

Our Buildings & Ground Committee is planning a Work Party on Saturday,
Sept. 27, from 10–noon, and you're invited. Jobs include yard work as well
as minor indoor repairs and maintenance. No tools required--just two hours
of your time and willingness to help. And even if you can't make it to the
party, you can help bag up/containerize the excess yard waste in the rear
of the courtyard—at your convenience—in preparation to move it to a place
where the critters within can live and maybe even thrive as the biomass
decomposes. (Dawn's ravine.)

Sunday, Sept. 14

   9:30 a.m., Choir practice, sanctuary.

   11 a.m., Sunday service, sanctuary. Don Poole will present the
   highlights of the 2025 UUA GA.
   -

   Coffee hour!  Social hall. Ends at 1 p.m.
