*THE AUCTION IS COMING! THE AUCTION IS COMING!*
Be there or be left out: Friday, May 23, at The Gathering Place on 7th St.
Doors open at 5:30 for silent, live, and fixed-price bidding of some really
cool events and treasures! BYOB adult beverage (if you want to) for your
table. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served. It will be a fun evening!
Admission is $15, and remember: This is a fundraiser for FUUSM, so plan to
spend as much as you can afford!
*Online bidding is available until 10 p.m. Wednesday*. Here's how--this
works on your smart phone, tablet, or computer:

   1. Open your web browser and go to 32auctions.com.
   2. Create an account.
   3. Log out.
   4. Go to this website: 32auctions.com/fuusm
   5. Log in.
   6. Click on "view all items."
   7. Start scrolling. You'll have access to all the auction items that are
   available for silent and fixed-price (but not "live auction only items").
   8. You don't have to enter your credit card number, even for "by now"
   items--you can pay later, and even be invoiced. (Your church lady has
   already spent (but not paid for) $215 on fixed-price events plus auction
   admission, and placed bids on a whole bunch of silent auction items--for
   which I will be outbid, probably, on Friday evening or before.)

*HELP NEEDED WITH PLANT SALE*
Saturday, May 31, is the Big Day: Our annual Plant Sale and Bake Sale! But
we need things to sell, so dig up and pot up the overflow from your yard
and garden, clean up your gardening shed of tools, decorative pots, and
garden art, and get *baking*! We will accept donations of plants and garden
miscellany starting Tuesday, May 27, and foodstuffs on Friday, May 30.
Please help! Proceeds of this sale go toward our Buildings & Grounds
committee, for the repair and maintenance of our historic buildings. Re the
alligator and crocodile: You’ll see one later and one in a while.
