[Fuusm-l] NO SUNDAY SERVICE AT FUUSM THIS WEEK!!

*Please tell all your FUUSM friends*, especially those who aren't regular
email users: *There will be no service at FUUSM on Sunday, May 18. *Instead,
we'll be visiting the UU Fellowship of Athens. Meet in front of FUUSM at
9:15 to carpool. A potluck lunch will follow the mostly musical service (so
bring a dish to share), and then a folk-song sing-along will be from
1-2:30. (So, if you carpool, make sure you ride with someone whose plans
match yours.) The Athens UU is at 184 Longview Heights Road in Athens, and
Google says it takes 54 minutes to get there.

Meanwhile, there are* announcements:*
*Tech Helpers Needed for Service Auction*
We'll be using new software for our service auction on Friday, May 23, and
we need helpers to sell admissions, record bids and winners, and collect $$
at the end of the auction. A training session on the new software will be
at 6 p.m. *tonight*. Just show up if you're willing to help!!

*Donations needed for the annual FUUSM Plant Sale & Bake Sale*
Saturday, May 31, is the Big Day: Our annual Plant Sale and Bake Sale! But
we need things to sell, so plant some seeds, dig up the overflow from your
yard and garden, clean up your gardening shed of tools, decorative pots,
and garden art, and get baking! We will accept donations of plants and
garden miscellany starting May 27, and foodstuffs on Friday, May 30. Please
help! Proceeds of this sale go toward our Buildings & Grounds committee,
for the repair and maintenance of our historic buildings.
