[Fuusm-l] Save Ohio Parks at County Fair

FUUSM Folks,

    As I announced at the worship service yesterday, I have reserved a site
at the upcoming Washington County Fair for a tabling event in support of
Save Ohio Parks, which is an organization dedicated to stopping the harmful
practice of fracking near and under public lands like state parks. We
have discussed this event at the Green Sanctuary Committee.
    I am looking for some people to staff the table (to be sheltered by a
tent) for two-hour slots from Saturday noon, Sunday, and Monday (August 30,
31, and September 1). The agreement with the Fair Board is to staff  the
site from 10 am to 9 pm on the latter two dates.

     All you would be asked to do is to distribute the attached flyer and
give the following simple and unequivocal message:

 *   Tell Governor Mike DeWine to declare a moratorium on any nominations,
bids, leases or permits to frack (high-pressure hydraulic fracturing) near
or under public lands like our state parks.*
