[Fuusm-l] 2024 Pledge

*FUUSM Members & Friends*

            By now you should all have received a copy of the Pledge Drive
letter and Pledge Form for our 2024 Pledge Drive (as it applies to our
2024-2025 fiscal year). If you have not, please let me know (
gbanziger497 at gmail.com; 740-434-3354).

            Frankly, at the outset I was apprehensive about our current
pledge drive. As I mentioned in the pledge letter, we at FUUSM have
experienced some strife over the past year, and I was worried that these
events might impact our pledge drive negatively. But in the initial
submissions of completed pledge forms, I have been very gratified and
relieved.  Several FUUSM members have continued their financial commitment,
and some have even INCREASED their pledge over last year’s. This speaks to
the optimism and commitment that is still manifest in our congregation!

            If you have not already done so, please submit your completed
pledge form by mail, by hand at the FUUSM office, in the offering plate at
worship service, or you can just email your annual pledge *amount* directly
to me (via a separate email to menot a reply to this message).
