For those who like podcasts, we can suggested the Sam Harris podcast of an
interview with David Brooks which goes over his intellectual history and
his ideas about morality and politics (we need more of the former).  The
Low Trust Society: An Interview with David Brooks

  I was able to listen to it by clicking on “preview episode”.  It is 46
minutes, and when you get to the end it says you have to subscribe to hear
it all.  But there’s plenty before that.
