[Fuusm-l] Flower seeds in need of homes

Greetings, all,

My plants are way too prolific for my small space, so I will have seeds available tomorrow after church for anyone who wants to start some. (Hint: if you don't want any for your own garden, the 2024 plant sale can always use a few good native perennials.) Those with no takers will either go to the Broughton preserve or be randomly scattered when I find some bare soil.

Rebecca

Baptisia australis (in pods)

Penstemon digitalis (probably the cultivar “Huskers Red”—in pods)

Ratibida pinnata

Rudbeckia hirta

Common milkweed and butterfly milkweed (unfortunately, I neglected to label which was which)

Ironweed

Joe-Pye weed (not sure which species, but the parent plants were eight feet tall)

Saw-tooth sunflower

Anise hyssop

River oats (okay, not technically a flower but a great plant)

Offspring of Chris Hoke’s tall yellow and orange cosmos—not native this far east but great nectar plants
