[Fuusm-l] Plastic for a good cause

Good morning, all,

I know that we have been working to reduce our use of plastic, but if it still manages to find its way home with you, Havar (a local company that works with people with developmental disabilities) is collecting soft plastic. For every 500 pounds collected, they can get a bench made with recycled materials for one of their group homes. An Athens facility has already gotten one, and the Marietta office would like a bench for at least one of the homes here.

Acceptable plastics: grocery bags, salad and produce bags, deli bags, packaging film, etc.

If you bring your plastics to church any Sunday between now and August 28, I will get them to Linda Veraldo, who is collecting for Havar.
