[Fuusm-l] Today's Issues Readings for Sunday, May 16

The Today's Issues group is meeting at 9:30 on Sunday mornings in the
parlor of the Religious Education group next to the church.  We end in time
to attend the Flower Communion service in the Sanctuary at 11.   Please do
the reading and join our lively discussion.

For this Sunday we will read discuss two short essays, both from the New
York Times:

Ross Douthat, "Did Trump Make Everything Progressive?"  The Times's
conservative columnists argues that progressive sentiments actually
permeated the government.  Which is the exception and which is the
