Inauguration Week
TUES. TONIGHT@ FUUSM   (5:15pm) All are invited to attend a Covid-19 Memorial Vigil with candles to remember the over 400,000 people who have died in the US.  We acknowledge that the numbers worldwide are devastating.  As we prepare to move forward, there are many events to bring people together.  
There is a national gathering at the Lincoln Memerial Reflecting Pool at 5:30pm.

Sunday January 24  - "Braver Angels" - George Banziger and Bev Horstman, speakers
11:00 a.m. on Zoom and Facebook
Braver Angels is a national organization trying to address the problem of political polarization in our country. George is a member of Braver Angels. Also visiting by Zoom will be Ms. Bev Horstman, State Coordinator of the Ohio chapter of the organization.
Since the presidential election Braver Angels has sponsored two initiatives to address polarization: Holding America Together and With Malice Toward None. George and Ms. Horstman will describe those two initiatives. Other initiatives by Braver Angels are planned for the first part of 2021. A group of people in the Marietta community, including FUUSM members and friends, have expressed an interest in Braver Angels and in supporting Braver Angels' initiatives in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Braver Angels and the principles it supports are similar in several ways to FUUSM principles.



Vaccination
Memorial Health System has a section of their website devoted to vaccine information.
They are providing the Moderna vaccine with appointment-only drive-thru clinics for those over 80 years old, tonight, Thursday and in the future.  Call 844-887-4148 to do the pre-registration work.  Keep sharing information to help people access these important services.
