Dear Friends,

As you probably already know "Deep Rock Disposal LLC", is planning to place holding tanks along the river close to where Route 7 and 550 meets.
These tanks will be for holding fracking waste until they can ship them out. You should know that this waste is not environmentally safe. They will be brought in by trucks and shipped out by barges. That means that at least two times they will be transferred from one vessel to another, on that very spot.
This comes as a surprise to our area. The first that any of us heard about it was about a month ago. According to them, we missed the opportunity to speak out and do not have a say in the matter.

I am asking all who are concerned about this to have someone take a picture of your entire family (include pets if possible) with someone in the group holding up a sign saying "Help Us". Your message should say "Hear Our Voice We Don't Want "Deep Rock Disposal LLC
In Marietta, Ohio" Include your complete names and addresses. Identify those of legal age.

We will ALL send this to our Governor, senators and representatives this Thursday (06/04/20). We would like to show that we are in unison
and stand together.

If you need help contact me and I will see that someone will help you accomplish this. There will be help in the church courtyard from 11:30 through 3:00pm. I will have a sign for you to use as well.

Addresses are as follows: ( include) The US Army Corps of Engineer project number: LRH-2020-293-OHR, Senator Sherrod Brown is httpwww.brown.senate.gov/contact/<http://www.brown.senate.gov/contact/> phone# is 202-224-2315. Senator Rob Portman Phone # is 202-224-3353. Governor Mike DeWine phone # is 614-644-4357. Representative Bill Johnson "hot line" # is 1-800-282-0253.

There will be more projects coming, so please keep in touch. Time is running out. Together, we can't be broken.
My number is 740-568-8200

In Peace,
Shari R Ballantyne
