For this Sunday, January 13, the Today’s Issues group will discuss two
articles from the December 20 issue of the New York Review of Books.

Page 82, “Regulate It, Man

by Peter Maguire, a review of a book on the rise and fall and rise of
marijuana in America

Page 91, “In the Valley of Fear
<https://www.nybooks.com/articles/2018/12/20/in-the-valley-of-fear/>,” a
discussion of farm labor in California, most of which is done by
undocumented Mexicans.

The group meets in the parlor of the Religious Education building next to
