ANNUAL MEETING –Sun., April 29th. 

We will have a short service in the Social Hall followed by the meeting at 11:30am.  

Annual Reports are due in the office before this Wednesday, April 18th.  



Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony The Building, Lands and Parks Committee of Marietta City Council is hosting a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at the Municipal Court Building at 4th and Butler Street, Marietta, 4:30pm Thursday April 19 to celebrate the installation of Solar Panels on the roof of the building.  All Marietta residents and interested parties are invited to attend.

Help celebrate Earth Day at the Sun Dance Hoedown at the Betsey Mills Club! Saturday, April 21, 2018 7:30 - 10:00 pm $5 per person         

Betsey Mills Gym, 300 Fourth Street, Marietta     All ages are welcome to come and dance!

Snacks and family-friendly beverages available for donation.

You do not need to know how to square dance or contra dance to come and have fun.  You just need to be willing to learn something new!  Chris Jacobs and Dawn Hewitt are calling a square and contra dance to benefit  FUUSM Green Sanctuary Committee's projects that reduce our reliance on fossil fuels by using solar power and increasing the energy efficiency of our buildings.





In honor of Earth Day next week, we will experiment with a Paperless Sunday. No Order of Service.

The FUUSM Folders will be available upon request, and the hymnals will guide our singing as usual.

April Is Climate Justice Month: Join us in writing our U.S. Senators the RECLAIM Act for a just transition for coalfield country communities.

During Climate Justice Month, UUs across the country are hand-writing letters to their U.S. Senators to be personally delivered to Capitol Hill offices on May 8 by the UUs for Social Justice Capitol Hill Advocacy Corps. Join us and write a message to support the RECLAIM Act to release $1B funds to coal country communities.

Stop by the letter-writing table in the Social Hall after worship service on Sunday, 22. Specific instructions and a sample letter to adapt will be provided. Questions? Contact Adeline Bailey at adesign at suddenlink.net
