[Fuusm-l] UUs for Social Justice letter-writing project. Urge your senators to support the RECLAIM Act!

Hello, FUUSM friends,

Thanks to many of you for hand-writing letters addressed to your state's 
senators in support of the bipartisan RECLAIM Act 2017. For those who 
have not yet had time to write letters, we hope you will join us in this 
environmental justice project as we celebrate Climate Justice Month! We 
will again set up a letter-writing table in the Social Hall after the 
worship services on Sunday, April 22. The Green Sanctuary committee 
suggested that sending instructions and a sample letter along with some 
background information and key points would be helpful to have ahead of 
time as you plan your letters.

Please be sure to *include your name and complete mailing address *at 
the close of the letter to prove that you are a constituent. Without 
that information the letter will not be considered. And *write to both 
senators*, perhaps in separate letters. *Do not fold your letter*. I 
will mail a packet of all our letters to Unitarian Universalists for 
Social Justice. They will combine them with letters from other UUs and 
friends from across the country and hand-deliver them to Senate offices.
