This Sunday, May 28, 2017, the Today's Issues group will discuss two
readings from the New York Review of Books May 25 issue:

page 22, Darryl Pincknew, "Catching Up to James Baldwin," about a book
titled "The Fire This Time: A New Generation Speaks About Race."

Page 38, Piryamvada Natarajan, "Calculating Women," about the black women
who worked as "calculators" on the U.S. moon project and other scientific
endeavors.

The group meets in the parlor of the Religious Education Building next to
the Church at 9:30 on Sunday mornings. Please read the essays and join our
lively discussion. A copy of the readings is attached.
