For this Sunday March 12 the Today's Issues group will discuss two essays
from the March 9 issue of the New York Review of Books. Since the second
reading is on Donald Trump I am suggesting an additional essay from the
March 23 issue also on Trump.

March 9 issue:
page 5, Nathaniel Richy, "Joan Didion in the Deep South" which compares the
south to California and the midwest

page 9, Elizabeth Drew, "Terrifying Trump"

Also suggested from the March 23 issue:

Mark Danner, "What he could do"

A copy of the readings is attached.

Our group meets in the parlor of the religious education building next to
the church at 9:30 am. Please do the reading and join our lively
discussion.
