[Fuusm-l] Let's make 50, 000 dry meals for Washington county food pantries in 2 hours

There is a program going in Marietta that I think we should be involved
in.  An Americorp Vista has organized a volunteer event to package 50,000
meals of rice and beans to give to the food pantries in the area.  They
will cost around 25 cents per meal.

We (representing FUUSM) could sponsor a table with $1000 and 12-14
volunteers for two hours on Nov 5 at Marietta High School.  Just our table
would make around 3,846 meals for the county!

All the food will stay in this area.  The food pantries have worked out the
details.

To do this we need 10 people to donate $100 or 20 people to donate $50
towards the project and we need 12-14 people who can work 2 hours on Nov
5th at Marietta High School from 1:30-3:30.

*I need to know ASAP if you can donate money or agree to volunteer or
both.  The faster we do this the better since our church will get publicity
as they publish information about the event.*
