The Today's Issues group will not meet December 25 or January 1 because of
holiday plans.

The next meeting will be on January and will discuss two articles from the
December 22, 2016 issue of the New York Review of Books.

page 22, "The Brutal Dreams that Came True." This is about Brutalist
architecture, and we will have a slide presentation with pictures of
buildings discussed in the article.

page 60 - "Merchants of Doubt: The Rockefeller Family Fund takes on Exxon
Mobil." This is the second of two articles on this subject, the previous
one is in the December 8 issue.

The group meets in the parlor of the Religious Education Building next to
the Church, at 9:30 on Sunday morning. Please read the articles and join
our lively discussion.

A Word file with the text of both articles is attached. They can also be
read on the NYRoB web site.
