Adeline;  Thanks for having my back, but of course I should have had a
proof reader.  It is Oct. 30th so I will resend to the paper and tourism
folks with the corrections.  We did talk about this with Elaine.  I
think Roger Kalter will be eager to help with the tour docents and I
believe he has already spoken to the Monday coffee group about the
special coffee.  We have time to work out those details but I am hoping
to do better with communicating them (that's my goal for myself) as we
move forward in growing our FUUSM community.  Annie

Corrected version:

If you want to use this for the Confluence...This is being sent out to
local media outlets and the tourism office.

Marietta OH: First Unitarian Universalist Society of Marietta will be
holding their annual Day of the Dead Sunday service beginning at 11 am
on October 30th. The service is designed to pay homage to loved ones who
have died. Guests are invited and are encouraged to bring a photo or
other memento to add to the special altar prepared for the event.

Immediately following the service there will be a special coffee hour
with a barista and seasonal treats. Guests are encouraged to attend.

At 12:30 there will be a scheduled guided tour for anyone interested in
learning more about the building which was constructed in 1857, paid for
Nahum Ward, a local wealthy man who owned more than 100,000 acres in Ohio.

For more information or to schedule a tour please contact Annie Warmke
(740) 252-6295 or email her at annie at bluerockstation.com.
