Hello  - Bonnie Bolan is going to help me set up Saturday, so Annie you
don't need to come Saturday. Roger - when will we be able to get into
the church? Late morning or early afternoon is best for me.
                            Thanks - Laurel hobden

    Hello Annie & Roger,

I'm good with speaking a few minutes about my art & mission. I
am up for donating 10 each of my dandelion flags & Green New Deal
Bandaners for the church to raffel or sell. Annie you may not need
to be at the church to help me set up Saturday. I contacted Bonnie
Bolan to see if she can help me get  set up. I'd like to do it
earlier in the day so I can be back to BRS by dark.

Roger - I look forward to meeting you - I'm glad you & Annie
are co-conspirators! I need 2-3  tables to display the sculptures &
possible literature to go with "Are You a GMO Guinea Pig?" banner. I
will also have a mobile to show - so I need to hang it from the
ceiling.  I will have 2 sculptures (ceramic with metal bases), 3
    banners(or more if desired), one weaving( 7 1/2 ft x 3ft - weights
30lbs- I probably need to use toggles in the wall to hang it) & one
small mobile. I'm excited to show my mobile " Ode to the Whales, May
They Outlive Us " ( I like to make people think & get motivated).
I've been working on it off & on for over a year. I will need to
have access to the space Saturday to get everything set up.Is there
a ladder there I can use ? Thanks for all your help!IMG_1722.jpg

Laurel;  Thanks for the updates for May 1st.  I am including
Roger on this post to see if he can help us.  Bonnie Bolen is
going to have two Ukrainian banners outside at the UU sign.  I
am thinking that if the weather is good your banners can hang on
the cast iron fence - it is a nice long fence that is on two
street sides of the church. I did speak to Roger about this
since he is my co-conspirator in these monthly reflections we're
        putting together.

I think we could hang things in the social hall over bulletin
boards so that you could attach some of the items.  I am unsure
about how things get attached in the church building.  Roger
would be a good resource to us about that and he could help with
access to the building on Saturday etc.  I have a scheduled BRS
tour on Sat. and would be unable to leave here until 3:30ish -
putting me there at 4:45 so Roger will be our main go to for
scheduling and hanging things.  He is a joy to work with.

Of course I am planning you are staying here.  Church is at 11
am and goes for about 30 minutes with an amended service because
we'll go outside after the initial part of the service to dance
the May Pole during coffee hour, and enjoy live music.  I'm
wondering if we could hang a couple of banners in the courtyard
        or on the education building...Roger?

Would you be agreeable to giving a three or four minute overview
of the goal of your art during the initial service (standing at
the pulpit to talk)?  If you don't want to do that I would be
happy to put something together to briefly talk about our
relationship as activists.  Just let me know what words best for
your time and energy.  Any other questions don't hesitate to
        ask.  Hugs, Annie
