1.. Minutes of February 5 were approved.

3.. Reports from Specific Task Teams:
1.. Aesthetics Team:
2.. Special Music Team: Suzyn - March 15 - Al Tuttle penny whistele; March 22 - chorus of women LuAnn G - play soon?
3.. Worship Associates Team: Kat and Jim Rapp will plan a refresher for WAs in the spring.
Amended statement about the Native Americans of this area: As part of the Marietta Community, we acknowledge that our building occupies the traditional land of various Native American tribes, and we try to walk respectfully and lightly upon that land.
Martha has updated the checklists and scripts, sent them to all WAs, and placed a copy accessible for use on Sundays in the Sanctuary and Social Hall. She will further update the checklists to add the fire drill/emergency duties.
4.. Piano Task Force:
5.. Technology Task Force:
Establish a process for preparation for incorporating technology.
Involve Mike Bailey.
Arrange practices well in advance of service/program.
Include Kelly McDermott.
Use visual displays in Opening and Closing of service.
For books, show only illustrations.
6.. Task Force for the Time for All Ages: Ralph created a list. Use tfaa at fuusm.org in the "to" line. Gil Moore recommends a storyteller on ways to make friends.
3.. The Storage Team: Maggie has established a team to assess the church semi-annually. [Please see additional reports sent separately.]
4.. Safety Committee Request: If fire drill/emergency, WA on duty is asked to stand at stair door that leads to Nursery to steady people as they start down the stairs. The Committee agreed to ask WAs to fulfill this request.
5.. Expenditures: A $250 stipend was approved for Kari Gunter-Seymour for the reflection on March 8. A $50 stipend was approved for Virginia Killian, who is lending her painting "Appalachian Woman" for display and use as OOS cover art and will speak at the March 8 service. Virginia has asked that the $50 stipend be donated to the FUUSM general fund. A $50 stipend was approved for Wendy Clark as a guest musician on March 1.
6.. Proposed Budget for 2020-2021: See email sent separately. (The proposal has been sent to Nancy Luthy and Andrea Bone.)
7.. Novak Special Fund for the Music Department
***The Committee needs clarification of the Novak Special Fund for the Music Department.
· Is the money invested and earning interest?
· Has any of the fund been spent already?
· The Committee recommends that some funds go toward buying sheet music for all the choir members. Such action would honor copyright laws, show respect for composers and arrangers, and establish a library for Choir music.
· We realize that the purchase would cost about $75 per piece. Therefore, we suggest that the Choir Director be permitted to request money from the Novak Special Fund to cover costs beyond those budgeted.
9.. Annual Report: The draft will be sent separately soon.
10.. New Theme for 2019-2020: How do we address the paradox of "We"?
11.. Assessment of Service: March 1 Generations of Gender Justice
What went well: Incorporation of Native American music was very effective.

Do we define our interests according to our values or vice versa? Do we have a healthy
