Thanks Martha. I drafted the Dec. 27th order of service this morning with Chris and will go over it with Rev. Kat this afternoon. No repetition of hymns.
The reading you have chosen for the Jan. 3 service – New Year’s Day -- was written by my first UU minister, Kacky McTigue. She was in Winston-Salem, NC back then.

Jim

Subject: DRAFT of service for January 3 -- also for reference as Dec. 27 service develops

Hi, Chris, Jim, Kat, Randy, Tabatha, Ralph, and Worship & Music Committee folks --

I hope this information is helpful as Jim, Kat, and Randy finalize the Fire Communion service for Dec. 27. [We can hope to avoid repetition of hymns, etc.]

Tabatha -- Let me know which facets of the service you want to be responsible for.

Likewise, Worship & Music Committee folks, please let me know how you would like to be involved. AND the reflection contents is still open to revision. If you spot a powerful or humorous piece related to this holiday/new year transition, please share.

Suzyn - Would you like to lead the responsive reading as well as give the benediction?

Ralph, please note that you are featured in the Reflection. THANK YOU!

In gratitude to ALL who are so helpful,
Martha
