Chris, I get your feeling about the social hall not being
warm and fuzzy (and who else remembers the warm fuzzies and
cold pricklies?), but I actually appreciate meeting there
because of the ultraviolet air filtration the board
installed earlier in the pandemic. Much more Covid-safe than
the average private home. Just a thought. (And I am probably
excessively cautious, but some studies indicate that people
with asthma have a 1 in 4 chance of long Covid, which
friends who have experienced it say is not a good thing.)

Okay ladies, I do not see anyone hosting for the month of
October. Any takers, please contact Cindy Brown, our list
caretaker.

 

I really hope that we will meet in someone's home. I really
do not like meeting in the church Social Hall. For me, it is
just "cold" and "sterile" - not warm and fuzzy! I have heard
from some folks that their homes are too small for our
group. Maybe co host in someone else's house?

 

Well this is just my opinion. 

 

The women's group is important to me. And I loved that
Cynthia brought a friend, Cheryl, with her. Our group does
not need to be just UU women. Again, my thoughts.

 

So hope to see you all in October!
