Karen:
The church kitchen has plenty of plates, cups, utensils. And a dishwasher. I, as well as other women would be willing to pitch in and clean the dishes by hand.
Why have a well-supplied church kitchen if we cannot use it? And B & G committee is talking about getting a new stove. Why put out that expense? No community meals anymore.
Why do the women need to bring their own plates, utensils, but the men do not need to? Nor at coffee hour, are the members / friends expected to bring their own cups.
So who has made the decision that the women need to bring their plates and such? Is this a Board decision?
Chris

Sorry this bothers you. We had too many women attending Women’s Group to entertain them in Beth’s home. We needed more space so we had to move it to the church. It was one of the best Women’s groups that I have ever attended. If that happens again, I will be glad to bring what is needed for you to come so you don’t need to do it yourself. Karen Binkley.

If the Women’s gathering continues to be at the Social Hall and I am required to bring my own dish, cup, utensils and a dish to share, you can be sure I will not be there.
For months now, the Men’s group have been meeting in the host’s home and are not required to bring their plates and such.
Why such concern? Are you women also asking your friends and family to bring their place settings to your home over the holidays and other times?
I am extremely disappointed with this policy.

It is at the social hall, for sure. Bring a dish to share and your own table setting.
There was a problem with the FUUSM email lists for the past few days. Messages were sent, but apparently, they were not delivered.

Sue Montera & I (Anita N) want to attend Women's Group tonight, but now I am confused: Is it at the social hall at the UU or at Beth's home on Washington St?
Please let me know!
Thank you!!

Yikes! I mixed up my weeks. Hope to see everyone at the social hall this evening. Will probably bring a dessert.
