[Women] Another request

When I attend WG, I immediately feel like I am in a safe space to be me,
express my opinions and feelings and drink in the support.  The Women in our
church family are treasures.  I am in awe and admiration of each person.
The gathering gives us an opportunity to go deeper than the surface
interactions to feel a connection to someone with someone we may not have
known well previously.  The laughter, food, beverages and friendship flow
like butter.  So looking forward to time when I can embrace these ladies in
person.

Greetings, dear FUUSM women,

 

Martha and I are working on Sunday's service on this pandemic year and the
challenges of maintaining our community under these circumstances. We would
like to focus in large part on women's group and would like to incorporate
as many voices as possible. It is late notice, but we would welcome short
statements on "what women's group means to me," "why I participate in/what I
have gotten from women's group,"  "why women's group" (you get the idea).

 

If you would like to have a statement included (we won't use your name),
please send it by Thursday morning.
