Hi All, 
Women's Group is at my house 502 Washington Street, Marietta on the second Wednesday of the month which is February, 13.  All are welcome.  The theme this month is the Chinese New Year which is the year of the pig.  China has been an agrarian society so the pig was much valued and represents luck, overall good fortune, wealth, honesty, general prosperity.   The colors are red and gold and I will be cooking roast chicken.  I will try the Chinese barbecue but your dish does not have to be Chinese.  Vegetables, desserts and some non-meat dishes would be great.  

Are we looking forward to a generally prosperous new year?  What does that mean in our situation today?
