Everyone is invited to Women’s Group at my house on Wednesday, November 
14, 6:00 p.m.  We’ll eat first and then sit around and discuss.  Let’s 
talk about gratitude in this month of Thanksgiving. Studies show that 
grateful people are happier, less depressed, less stressed, and more 
satisfied with their lives.  A few months ago we had a husband/wife 
speakers saying that the practice of being thankful for 10 things every 
day has helped them tremendously. Let’s talk about the subject.  Ideas 
below…

You are thankful for a person or group in your life…
A special animal or thing in your life that you are grateful for…
How do you show your gratitude…
Gratitude for the present moment…
Is gratitude a spiritual practice…
What about starting a ritual of practicing gratitude….

Directions from Marietta:
Take Route 14 for 6 miles to Rosemar Road.  Turn left.  Proceed on 
Rosemar for 2.3 miles to Woodland Drive.  (You will see a big planter on 
the hillside.)  Turn right onto Woodland. Take the first right, Valley 
View Drive, up the big hill.  Drive around the top of the hill until you 
see Valley View Circle.  Turn right and we are #23, a stone ranch.  
Parking is a little limited, so carpooling is desired.

 From Parkersburg:
Take Emerson Avenue (Rt. 68) to Rosemar Road.  Proceed on Rosemar for 
1.5 miles to Woodland Drive.  See the big planter on the hillside. Turn 
left onto Woodland Drive and follow direction above.
