[Women] Women's Group -- Wednesday, March 8, 6:00 p.m.

Greetings, Strong Women!!

You are invited to my home for the Women's Group meeting, this coming Wednesday, March 8.  We'll begin at 6:00 p.m. (or a little before).  [I may have a "pick-up after crew practice duty," so that time is safest for my being actually at the door to open it.]

March 8 has been declared International Women's Strike Day.  I guess our theme for the night is obvious.  So here are some preparations:
1.  The easiest way to mark this event is to wear RED.
2.  Think about women (men, too) who have been your "wells of strength."  If they are still living, tell them how they have impacted you.
3.  You can go "on strike" from assumed duties -- whether at home or at work.  It will be interesting to hear what you may decide to NOT do.
4.  Notice sexism wherever . . .  Then protest it, creatively.
5.  Practice activism.  What movements are you supporting?

I'm thinking we can combine the sharing of these five with our "check-in."

Please tell me if you are coming so I can set up enough chairs, etc.  Let me know, too, if you need clarification OR "talking in" as you get close.

DIRECTIONS:
I'm in the condo development of The Fields.  That's located between Williamstown and Boaz right off Route 14.
If you are driving south on Route 14, turn left at the sign and yellow/black poles, just before the Hino plant.
If you are driving north on Route 14, turn right at the sign and yellow/black poles, just after the Hino plant.

When you reach the club house, stay to the right side of the oval.  You will see a fire hydrant.  The driveway to my condo is the next driveway, and my condo, #5-119, is in the back.

I have limited parking at my condo -- just two spaces in front of the garage door.  (not in the turn-around space, please)
You can also park on the oval OR in the parking lot at the club house.
